Proper electrical supply is critical for optimum kiln performance. When ordering, voltage and phase requirements must be properly matched.
We suggest when selecting a kiln find out what type of electrical feed is available to your location ie., amps, voltage and phase should be your first step. As an example a very large kiln may not fit your current supply feed and will require a new service.
Proper wire size is critical. Incorrect size will cause a multitude of kiln performance problems.
Some kilns can be ordered in many different configurations, to be tailored to your needs: fixed dimensions, or take apart for more depth when needed. Electronic controlled or manually operated higher cone temperature or production orientated.
